Understand the concept of algebraic expressions.

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the lesson, the students are able to:

i. Write algebraic expressions for given situations using letter symbols.

ii. Recognise algebraic expressions in two or more unknowns.

iii. Determine the number of terms in give algebraic expressions in two or more unknowns.

iv. Simplify algebraic expressions collecting like terms.

v. Evaluate expressions by substituting numbers for letters.

i) Teacher explain a few example to the students
ii) Ask the students to complete the exercises
iii) Ask the students to share their answer in front the classroom

Remarks:

The students enjoyed the lesson. At the beginning of the lesson, students still unable to understand the lesson. After some explanation, the students able to do the exercises given.
